24k pure Gold. Gold is something magical; you have to experience it to feel it. Gold is versatile and plays with natural light, something deeply more powerful than acrylic and oil pigments. Mendel’s first gold edition gives him this precious and warm feeling, a metaphor for the Golden Age of Childhood. The technique of laying the golden leaf is unique; due to this special technicality and the rendering, I was looking at the gold aspect… the quantity of gold is considerable.
